Angela Sevin is an educator, facilitator, artist and community activist. She has a master's degree in experiential education and has volunteered in numerous capacities for a wide spectrum of non-profit organizations as an outdoor educator, group leader, peer counselor and mentor. "In my volunteer work as a facilitator of the "Keepin' it Real" class at San Quentin state prison, I've come to realize that unless and until we deal with issues of class, race, and privilege, we will never find the balance that nature so innately seeks." For the past ten years, Angela has worked towards creating educational environments inclusive of social change ideals and activist principles balanced with the pursuit of individual empowerment. By viewing differences compassionately, facilitating others to discover their passion, and with a unique focus on global wisdom, she envisions a future where creativity and learning are nurtured in a way that accepts the communal
spirit of all beings.
