The Keepin' It Real Course is an 'Experience'. The very first 'peer-led' education program of its kind, for those most at risk of incarceration as well as those expericing chaos and confusion in their daily lives.

Its founder and visionary, Raymond Akil Moultry, was blessed with this enriched and empowering curriculum in 1997 behind the oftime turbulant walls of San Quentin State Prison. Established in January 2003, the programs original goal was to provide inmates and those most at risk of incarceration and/or recidivism to prison with the practical life skills and emotional tools needed to lead healthy, productive, free lives.

March 2007, Having now made the physical transition himself (from prison to society) he, along with a trusted and qualified staff of facilitators have now transitioned from the work inside the prisons to the work outside the prison, i.e., schools, juvenile halls, as well as work-places throughout the state.

The Keepin' It Real experience has an intensive curriculum designed to "crack the shell and get to the heart of the issue".. With topics which inspire accountability and emotional honesty on all levels; rebuilding integrity and self-esteem, as well as enabling participants to move forward toward a life of positive contribution and service to society.
